Thank you for your generous donation.
By supporting the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest, you’re ensuring the more than 136,000 people living with epilepsy in the northwest receive support, resources, educational and social programs necessary for them to lead full, productive and healthy lives. The Epilepsy Foundation Northwest depends on caring individuals, companies and service organizations to fund programs that directly impact the lives of northwest children and adults living with epilepsy.
The Epilepsy Foundation Northwest is funded independently by individuals, corporations and foundations. We depend on northwest communities to support our programs and services. You may receive a direct mail piece or email asking for donations to the national Epilepsy Foundation of America, however please note those donations do not come to the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest.
Programs and services provided by the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest support people in Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Montana. Our fight against seizure disorders cannot be possible without the continued support of people like you. Thank you again for your gift.

Matching Gifts
Find out whether your employer will match your charitable gift to the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest. Double your donation! Ask your employer for more details.
A Gift in Memory or Honor
Honor someone special or recognize an important event – a birthday, a wedding, a graduation – with a memorial or commemorative gift.
Gifts of Stock
If you own stock or other investments that have increased in value, you may be able to take advantage of additional tax savings. Often a gift can be made with little more than a phone call to your stockbroker.
Wills and Bequests
Leave a legacy or bequest for the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest in your will. We can provide you with sample language to share with your legal advisor. No matter what your financial circumstances are, this is a great way to leave a legacy gift to the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest.
Life Insurance
If you have a life insurance policy you no longer need, consider using it to help people with epilepsy. Simply designate the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest as the beneficiary of the policy.
Charitable Gift Annuity
Tax benefits and a high level of a steady, reliable stream of payments have long made charitable gift annuities a favorite giving vehicle. Gift annuity donors receive the security of a generous, regular, non-fluctuating stream of payments and an end to dramatic swings in the financial marketplace.
Charitable Trusts
A charitable trust offers a way for donors to make a gift while retaining benefits for themselves or their families. Similar to other types of trusts, the exact terms are quite flexible, except the amount distributed at its termination (the remainder) is paid to a charitable beneficiary. Trusts such as these can offer unique income and estate tax benefits as well as providing a stream of payments to the beneficiaries.
Gifts of Real Estate
Real Estate is usually transferred to charitable recipients by deed, just as if you had sold the property. You may also gift property through your will or other estate plans. Simply notify your estate attorney about your wishes.
Corporate Sponsors
Corporate sponsorship are available for many Epilepsy Foundation Northwest activities including the annual Camp Discovery summer camp for kids, the annual Northwest Run/Walk for Epilepsy and the annual Light the Flame Dinner/Auction. Contact the EFNW office for further information (206-547-4551/503-228-7651) or view our Corporate Sponsor Packages.
